INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO KIMS–UAISM HOSPITAL, DHAMANI, SANGLI

Students of IFSC Sangli & Kolhapur participated in an educational industrial visit to KIMS–UAISM Hospital, Dhamani, to gain practical knowledge and real-world exposure to hospital fire safety operations.

During the visit, students learned about:
✅ Real-time operation of building fire-fighting systems
✅ Fire alarm and detection systems
✅ Fire extinguishers and their practical applications
✅ Fire hydrant systems, hose reels, and emergency response equipment
✅ Fire emergency management and evacuation procedures
✅ Fire prevention, risk assessment, and disaster preparedness
✅ The importance of fire safety protocols in healthcare facilities
